The Green Isle Foundation / Children's Ranch was founded in 1987 by professionals who worked in or with the criminal justice system. These caring men and women knew what could happen to an at-risk child who did not receive help. Experience taught these leaders that a detention home, jail, or prison awaited most at-risk children who failed to receive proper attention and guidance.
